New INVIDIA FX35 FX45 exhaust dual canister NO RASP. PROTOTYPE AVAILABLE SOON

Then go for a tune. I have the same setup and that's why I am going for a dyno tune :.smile:

You will feel quite a bit of the difference. However, it will also depend on how good your tuner is. I believe other than Technosquare, most of the place use Uprev to do the tuning.

I also bought one two weeks ago from Gordon. He's truly a nice guy. Awesome! I am going to get it installed this Sunday and then head for an uprev tune next week. :.smile:

White Hair...you finally took the plunge! Awesome. You'll like it, especially with a tune.

I need a tune after i install mine. Even though i have not gotten a tune with the new exhaust, will i feel a difference?

I noticed a difference right away without a tune. A month after installing the exhaust, I got a Technosquare ECU reflash...now that's money well spent, and not expensive either.

I really can't resist the mod bug anymore. It was just too painful. :tears:

I am also waiting my new Iforged Sprint 22x10 with +30 offset.

I am also going back to Taiwan to see if I can get myself a set of custom made coil-over. Factories in Taiwan can do anything. Believe it or not, about 70% of the aftermarket parts are made in Taiwan.

I am still deciding whether to go with Technosquare or the local tuner here. I just like my car to be dyno'ed and tuned with wide band the same time. I have emailed Technosquare and never got a response back. The tuner I spoke to has told me there will be about 10 ~ 15hp difference max for the car before and after tune. DE engine needs FI or some engine build to have the true potential out.

John, you have to take out your ECU and send it to them. They have some instructions with pictures for a 350z, which is very similar to our FX. Call them before to confirm turnaround time first. If Tadashi, their head programmer is there it should be very fast (2-3 day turnaround). If he's in Japan, it may take a little longer. Should cost you around $550 plus shipping.

There's also something else...Cobb AccessPort. Not sure if it's compatible with the FX. You can build your own maps and change the setup as you add mods. You can even program a valet mode which doesn't allow RPMs above say 3000. It's quite popular amongst Subaru, 370z and other enthusiast circles.

I think the install will be fine, i talked to the master welder there at my shop and he said it will be tricky but he can get it done with no issue. He also said it will add about another hour to the installation. I have also sent the shop the whole thread on the install of Logans Invidia. Wish me luck! :)

You are going to like it man....Curious to see if your installation follows the same path as mine did, at least you are going into it prepared.

I agree. Do one for the 50!! See if you can make it to 3 inch (76mm) piping!!

how about you do one for the 50 and i will drive to wherever you are for testing.

I agree!!! Do one for the 50 and try to make it with 76mm piping (AT LEAST)!!

The installation was a breeze. The multi-piece design of the Invidia is smart. I just had mine installed today. It only took about 2 hours or less, with bunch of chatting with relax pace at my buddy's garage. Even my car was lift on low-raise instead of two-post. The installation is just smooth. Needless to say, fitment is just superb.

However, I like to share a tip with anyone who is going to install their new Invidia exhaust system.

There is no need to remove your GT specs lower lateral bracing, there are lots of room. Make sure to buy yourself a new pair of gaskets for the section between the flex pipe and the cats and apply some exhaust cement on the cats flange to prevent any possible leakage. Invidia package does not provide that pair of gaskets. And this will happens to FX in area with a lot of rainy and snowy whether condition; the flange face of the cats will mostly be rusty when you took your old exhaust off, so new gaskets and some exhaust cement are highly recommended for highest installation quality.

My experience with exhaust is Awesome!!!

Nice deep tone, about 30% louder than stocks, but I love it. You will definitely love the sound when WOT . For FX35, I did notice a bit of loss in low end torque for rpm below 2500 (not that noticeable unless you are a picky person like me ), but above that rpm the responses are faster. I am going for a dyno tune this week and should have that problem fixed up. :.smile:

You can get it from the dealership. It's about $6 ~ $10 bucks each or just regular muffler shop with the matching diameter. You only needs two anyways. Just tell the parts department you want to get the gasket between the cat and the y-pipe.

Hey guys. This exhaust will be in my hands tom. White Hair says we need two exhaust gaskets that goes between the cats and Y pipe. Im looking at pics of the invidia exhaust and im looking at where they connect. DO we need more exhaust gaskets where the rest of the exhaust connects? Any info appreciated.
