i've got an article in an import tuner about HFC's vs. test pipes vs. stock cats. i believe that there were minimal if any gains with the HFC's and slight gains with the test pipe. The article suggested staying with stock cats. I'll try and dig through may IT archives and scan it to show you guys.
Actually, it was stock cats vs. a gutted out cat vs. a test pipe. i can scan the article if needed. minimal gains with the test pipe. not sure if a HFC would gain much. but the dyno read.
Honda civic
stock cat 104.1 hp / 92.63 tq
gutted out cat 103.0 hp / 92.1 tq
test pipe 105.4 hp / 93.9 tq
