Sure, tell me there's a new Q300 version AFTER I buy mine! J/K...I like mine. Not raspy at all. Deep sounding...a little louder while gunning it but not much different (no droning) at cruise. No regrets - I highly recommend it.

Gordon, send me a new one and I can compare it to the old one for you.

DJ - I agree, since you have a FX45, the Q300 is an awesome setup where having the resonators shouldn't make a big difference on our harmonically balanced V8's vs the V6's. Our V8's won't rasp like the V6's, so less of an issue.

Gordon, thanks for getting both of these exhausts made. You keep making me think if I should trade up from my HKS to your true Dual Invidia. And you made it even harder by making me wonder which one to get!

I really like how you went up to a 3.00" piping on the newer one.

Who wants my custom y-pipe + hks mid and rear section? =)

socal FX45 here reporting for testing!

Ghetto-SO you going to hook up with Gordon to guinea pig the updated Invidia Q300 on your 45? Really want to see how the new system now functions on a 45 and see a DYNO TEST. If you are the first with a 45 a clearly written up install and performance summary will be greatly appreciated.

I've been on the Q300 fence fora few months, if it can truly add power across the spectrum I'll be on the list to purchase.

Gordon, care to clarify on the size of the piping throughout the system, is it really 3"?

afaik this new dual canister exhaust is called 'GEMINI'...just reference what gordon wrote in the 1st post...the main diff between this and the q300 are the included resonators, bigger x-pipe, dual canister and a 3rd tip option - single wall titanium tip.

i dont know if the over-all piping is larger, ill let you guys know once i swing by gordon's shop. i do agree w/ a previous post that 3" diameter is overkill for a NA setup, so im hoping this might be a 2.5" piping which is larger than the q300's 2.33"....we'll see, gordon is supposed to call me on monday to set things up.

as far as install goes, i believe they'll be doing this in their own shop but i'll be bringing my own digicam to snap some shots for you guys.

First Thank you like our Exhaust but 3 inch piping is too big for the true Dual cat-back on the FX Our manufactory least dyno like 3 4 time try a 2.25 2.50 2.75 3.00 piping size Cat-back on the VQ the Best Number show HP is 60 mm Piping i talk to Invidia manufactory onwer why don't put a 3 inch on the all VQ he said if we do 3.00 inch piping the exhaust lose a lot low RPM..that's the real problem..who want lose horsepower on the low...nobody want lose the low horsepower.

haha Get Invidia man...HKS is just a name Invidia is the quality and the HP.

If you in LA maybe i trade Invidia to your HKS.I want to konw how's the horsepower HKS make.

Thank you for you ask Chedman13
