Many people did a cost analysis on owning a street bike as a gas saving tool only and it was cheaper not to from a pure money stand point. Factoring proper maintenance and etc.I'd love a little sportbike for commuting to save on gas but I'm almost certain I'd get hit within the first few months.
That's why many people buy as an impulse and sell in 3 weeks.Yeah, it seems to me that even if I'm tripling my mileage, it would take time to recoup the initial costs. It's one of those good in your head, bad on paper ideas. I would like one from a fun perspective as well, but the commuting idea helps justify it more. I'm really comfortable on two wheels from biking, but the clutch and shifting might take a little getting used to.
Awesome track shots Dee!
