Motorcycle Riders

Congrats! Taking a MSF course? I did and got my road test waiver. The lessons learned were invaluable too!

From the looks of the site, they follow the exact same lesson plan as MSF, but won't waive the road test. They offer an actual road test on site for an additional fee afterwards too.

Here is the official MSF site. They direct you to ask the Training site directly if they will issue a road test waiver upon completion of the course.

I rode for years before taking the safety course and I definitely suggest taking it for ALL riders. They go over basic principles that matter in real life road situations. Other than the schooling, get yourself a well rounded learning bike to start with. Don't get a cool keeper bike, but one that can take some abuse. I think any variety of the street legal dirt bikes are ideal for learning. They're easy and light weight on the street. Take it in the dirt and become comfortable with traction loss and recovery. If you're comfortable with dirt riding, you'll be sooo much more comfortable on asphalt.

I'm honestly so new to it that I couldn't tell you what exactly I'm going to be taking I'm looking at this site http://www.motorcyclelearning.com/ which is pretty close. But I was also kinda hoping that people here could give me a general push in the right direction and how I should approach everything?

Take the msf course. It will only cost you $20. Well its free but $20 deposit but most donate the $20.

Its the fastest way to get the M endorsement. But more important learn about bikes and what to do when. Plus who else would let u try their bike out and not get mad if u dump it.

Another MSF course graduate here and I highly reccomend it. I also took the MSF advanced courses and think that they were worth it as well.

^ same here, MSF member. You also meet lots of cool ppl and there some fun within the grouping.

Most insurance companies will grant ~10-20% discount to your policy.

Took a ride to Bear Mountain/Storm King on Sunday. Then hit up a few photo shoot spots around my neighborhood.

I polished a friends black CBR1KRR a couple weeks ago, and I should have taken a pic. I believe it was an '08, which I love the look of.

just realized mv agusta made the F3... still Daytona 675 tops it
