Got my NRG STB from Alan, and turbo cut up my engine cover to make it fit. Enjoy!

Larry cut his to fit the GTS FSB, now this (which looks really nice BTW, the square shape fits the cut out perfectly) maybe I need to get off the fence and cut mine up as well.......

Larry cut his to fit the GTS FSB,
Yeah. He was my inspiration to follow suit. I loved the way the GTSpec looks integrated into the engine cover. I've always wanted the NRG bar and finally bought one after seeing his mod.

My post wasn't very clear but IMO the square shape of the NRG fits into the cut-out better than the arc of the GT-Spec if that makes sense, looks great. One thing i haven't seen (and I'll probably just talk about until someone else does it....) is polished intake runners on our engine. How slick would THAT look to have the big loops polished up......kind of a big center piece in the middle of the bay. Would even look cool to have them poking up through the center of the cover.

Thanks for the compliments! I love both the looks of the GTS and NRG so it would have been a win-win for me either way.

A polished intake runner would be very nice! Turbo, Soon and I were discussing possible finishes for the STB since it doesn't really match anything else in the engine bay (it is much more apparent in person). But polishing both the STB and intake runners might be a sweet sweet look.

Additionally, with the engine cover off, the 45 isn't very attractive. :frown: The 35 is a much better naked engine.
