INFINITI FX35 2003-2005 ; Complete Catback System (Includes Mid Pipe and Rear Section)


My ride is fx35 2006 awd. and just wondering if above middle pipe fits 06model?

I m sure the rear section would be fit, but not sure midpipe does???

If i just set rear section on my ride, will the sound will be good, if not, what should i do with my exhaust just with the rear section? what should i do . sorry about newbie question. Thx in advance!!!!!
 
mid pipe and rear will fit, only time you need to worry is when getting a y-pipe with AWD.

Ya, the Y-pipe on RWD FX35's is the same as the ones Z's and G's use. The midpipe is usually where the length change occurs. Something new I've seen is to use the VQ35HR y-pipe, and looking at those, I think it might fit on AWD FX's, but until someone tries it there is no for sure.

btw, the Nismo exhausts are from a 350Z, y-pipe back w/ g extention (between y-pipe and mid pipe)

How much louder did the HKS catback make the FX, Im looking for something that is like stock, I dont mind a little louder, But i want the same interior sound, I want an exhaust were theres no drone inside the cabin, Hell i have though about just doing a Axleback cause im so pickey about the sound..
 
don't forget if you are RWD and using a 350z y pipe, you will need the g35 extender found on mynismo.com

it was my understanding that the Z/G Y pipes are the same for the FX, just the mid-pipe on the Z/G are shorter.

I had to get the extension for my Nismo exhuast.

for the HKS, you would need one since the mid pipe/ muffler is made for the FX. correct me if Im wrong
