an SUV gives a kid less tempting to speed than a car . especially an FX . an FX is comfortable and smooth ridding and the audio system is awsome . all u wanna do is just cruise and enjoy the ride .
no 16 year old is gonna race a hummer with a 911. unless hes retarded or something . i think that story is kinda BS . thats just common sense.
I have to disagree on these two points. First one is that FX is so far the best handling and fastest feeling SUV I've driven so far. That means you can push the FX harder than most of the SUVs out there which makes it more tempting.. Compared to a car? Yes, FX might be less tempting but take into consideration that with the FX, you can go head to head with many of the cars out there..
On the second one, no offense but I assume you're close or a bit more than 16? There are plenty of 16-17-18 year old idiots out there (I was one of them when I was 18. I'm still close to being an "idiot" sometimes now at 29) that think they have inhuman reflexes that can save them from any situation OR a hard rock car/suv won't allow anything to happen to them OR a downhill race against a 911 can be won..
What I personally needed when I was around those ages was a good slap of hard truth which I unfortunately received by hitting a kid when I was 19. Thank God, he is all right now but ANY 16-18/19 year old out there needs to think twice before claiming they're "good drivers". The "good" part in that is two pieces: talent & responsibility. One may have talent but responsibility only comes as you age. And during that you have to be patient and drive slower cars
