Custom CF interior

Jason, what makes the burtman kit better than the others? I just picked up a FX yesterday and the shifter panel is all scratched, like with a key or something. So instead of me paying $400+ for a new Infiniti one, I'm thinking of a silver CF cover. Like others have said though, I don't want to go overboard. Some of the kits are 31pcs for $200 and the burtman kit is $325 for not as many pieces. Actually, how many pieces are in the Burtman kit? So sell me on the burtman kit or let me know your thoughts. I know you get what you pay for but not sure what I want to do right now. The scratches are god awful so I'm wanting to do something soon. Thanks

I have it in my fx I'll post some pics in the next days!!!!!!!

Jimmy,

Burtman has a great reputation when it comes to dash kits. Their fit and finish is always excellent from the one's that I have seen. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

Thanks Pupp.

Does anyone have any good pics of the silver cf? I have a grayish interior and thinking this silver cf would look pretty good.

Use "Search by Vehicle" to find products.

Some things that set these kits apart... Most kits being sold are not real wood. Most kits are advertised with a synth wood price and will show a lower price, until you hit the drop box to see the real wood prices.

This particular real wood has a very "deep" 3D look to it, aka, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, thanks to the awesome clearcoat. Synthetic wood is basically a "photograph" of real wood, so, in person, it won't have the effect real wood can have. I also sell synth wood kits as well and there is nothing wrong with them.

The edges are tapered where the clear coat ends, and are cut perfectly straight on the edges. I've seen many kits that aren't cut straight and they just don't spend the time to do it right. Even with the carbon, the "right" clearcoat is what's needed to make the kit stand out.

The adhesive backing is also tucked in behind the pieces so dust/dirt won't collect on the edges. Not many, if any do this.

These kits don't require a promoter to be applied to the dash before you install the kit. We use a newer version of 3M backing that doesn't require a promoter. Yes, this is more expensive, but it sticks better. Just about all companies require a promoter if you look at their install instructions. These promoters can discolor your dash, and with our kit, you can remove the dash kit later without harming your dash underneath. Many customers have leased vehicles and need to remove them at a later time.
