Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I am just wondering how many of you are bike (bicycle) riders and what brand of bike you own?

My bikes:

1. 2001 Colnago C40 carbon frame in 00F color, 52cm, full Campagnolo Record QS gruppo, Campagnolo Neutron Carbon wheels

2. 2003 Specialized S-Works Columbus Alu tubing, 52 cm, full Campagnolo Record gruppo, Campagnolo Khamsin wheels

If any of you like bikes like I do, mind taking one or two pics next to your FX?

Cheers!

I ride . . Just dont get John started

You guys are so fortunate to have that wonderful SoCal weather! Last Feb. I was on business in Westlake Village... every day for a week, I took Mullholland Highway/route 23 down to PCH. It was quite an experience!

...and here I am trying to get out there in a 32 degree weather before the Big Dinner

ha, yeah, I'm a bike lover. never quite winded up with a great roadbike (yet) but I have a few XC's.

1.titus Ti racer-X, custom geometry, full XTR w/chris king head/ chris king disco wheelset, sid race fork, BOE... really sweet bike ~25lbs

2. trek 8000 hardtail frame w/custom team postal red/white/blue paint done by trek, full XTR w/spox carbon fiber wheelset/ king headset/ sid pro race fork < 21lb's

3. trek vrx custom w/moddified swingarm, cantileaver eliminated, straight strata pro rear airshock (5"-7" linear travel). custom cadillac paint scheme, chris king wheelset, few different forks depending on XC or DH ~27--32lbs depending on setup

haven't looked too recently into getting a roadbike but always loved the italian bikes, the Colnago C40 is a sweet ride. I think if I ever get the roadbike I really want though it would be a seven Ti, or maybe a moots or even a lightspeed ti, something about a titanium roadbike that that'd be the first one I got I think... now an italian carbon bike would be a great addition to that too after

1. 2006 Cannondale 4000sl full XTR with carbon Lefty ELO
2. 2007 Slingshot with DLR2 lefty full 2008 XTR and custom 24 spokes wheels
3. 2007 ERB with Lefy MAX

They all custom builds from frame up.

I've since then replaced the pedals with flats, tires and the big ring with a bash guard. Up next are some new forks and brake set.

I did a couple of bike tours, and used to ride around for fun...but haven't been on either one of the bikes I have for this last year :embarrassed:. I have an oldie but goodie Trek Mountain Track 820, and also a Motobecane Cafe Noir. Nothing fancy, but they're good enough for my needs .

I am a serious bike geek.
1. Guru Maestro w/ Campy Record
2. Lynskey T320 Tri bike
3. Bilenky Tourlite single speed/fixie - just got it a few weeks ago

4. Turner Flux mountain bike w/ SRAM
5. Trek OCLV road bike frame. To be set up for crits as soon as I can sneak the build cost past my wife

I'd like to say I'm Shimano free but the tri bike currently has Ultegra components. Not to start a Shimano-Campy-SRAM debate or anything

im more of a mountain biker. used to go to vail every summer back when i was younger. not much of a flat land person though. maybe when i get older i will ride more to stay in shape.

just found a few old pictures of my first titus racer-x, an aluminum frame build... I painted it a chamelion color that was pretty wild in the sun & on the trails, looked green sometimes but from some angles was gold, some angles it was purple, crazy color... this ones on spox carbon fiber/composite wheels

third picture has the vrx custom behind it

this is the best pic i could find of my bike. its a giant warp DS2, i actually bought in Vail from a bike rental place. i like it, but my gary fisher i had before was better in my opinion, but that was bought new. anyways i finally got the full suspension i had always wanted and took it on a few runs down the mountains in vail, but now it just sits in my garage.

I am 100% Campy and have been for years. The only time I ride Shimano is when I have a rental, though a couple of years ago while in Tuscany I was surprised to find out that almost every bike there came Campy-equipped - ALAH! - I went from Siena to Grosseto and back and every shift I never had to think about it :)

What are those hoods? I love the honeycomb pattern!

BTW, I also ride Arione since the year they came out - the best saddle out there

Sweetness!!! Do you use your roofrails to bring the bike around? I have roofrails and crossbars but, ashamed to say, never used them - I ride at lunch and keep the bike in the car - half of backseat down

No, I was too scared to be putting the bike on top of my baby. I bought a hitch and this hitch mount. It works awesome and is so easy to get the bike on and off. Plus that way if I ever don't do it right and it falls off, it'll just fall off behind me instead of all over the roof.

Titus Switchblade Talas RLC/RP23 with 5.7 rocker
Cannondale Cyclocross

09 Turner RFX with the new DW-Link coming soon!!

I was a Titus diehard until Chris sold out and it all went downhill. They still make great bikes but it's just not the same now it's gone all corporate. You can see that the quality has decreased since they started farming out manufacturing. :frown:

Here's a pic of the Switchblade...

Turner's new bikes with the new DW-Link for '09 are going to be some of the best bikes ever made. The typical Turner handmade quality, perfect geometry, light, tough, best CS in the business, but now with the added bonus of the DW-Link. Sick!! I might even buy a 5.Spot after I get my RFX.

The hoods are Cane Creek. Those are actually tiny lizzards.

I've had my Turner a couple of years. It doesn't have the new geometry but it is still an awesome ride.

The Flux is a great bike. All Turner's are. And Dave is a top notch guy. They have a cult-like following for a reason I guess.
