+1 forgot to mention that ... some members have over torque the bolts and broke them during install.![]()
recheck torque specs with a torque wrench but do not tighten unless needed, these bolts break easily. If you do not have a leak or vacuum problems you probably are fine.
If you don't have a lot of Climate change, you are probably fine. If you have leak, you will hear a Hissing noise coming out of your plenum.
It is extremely important that you do not over tighten the bolts. I misread the instructions and used Foot/lbs torque wrench instead of Inch/lbs. I noticed this when the ranch would not click. So I read the instructions again and caught my mistake. When I unscrewed the bolts, I noticed that I had stretched the bolts by a good 1/8 of an inch.
don't attempt to try the install unless you have all the necessary items it calls for. One you get started, you cannot use your car until you're done.
