first off, I don't think that will be a problem as it is. Since there is no "movement" from either piece during normal driving.

Merch is right, there's not much movement from either pieces. What about the black stock ring that came with the FX, what if you leave that on and put the STB on top maybe it'll raise it up a bit.

It was bugging you that I reposted the pics to be 1st instead of last in the thread ? So someone would know they're there because it's bugging me that I'm not sure about the best way to move those wires !

You should be fine with the wiring.

What you might be able to do is cut down some of the metal under the rubber grommet so the grommet could slide down a bit. Or just leave it as is and maybe cut a small piece of rubber hose and place it between the bar and wiring to prevent wearing on the wiring over time.

Seemed a little harsh, but than again I'm a softy.

The harness is a split loom with electical tape wrapping it. Besides noise and being OCD it should not be anything to worry about. You can grind down the grommet if that makes it sit lower.
