Dash Bubbling

Just thought I'd start a new thread for this -

I have an 2005 and my dash started bubbling just above the left & right vents. This started happening a few months ago and I never got around to it. But I was at the dealer today taking care of my fading trim and I asked Cheryl (Metro Infiniti) to come out and take a look at it.

She agreed that its not normal and will order a new dash for me and replace it under warranty. She said that this was the 2nd one that shes seen. Here are some pics of the bubbles

Almost couldn't tell from the first 2 pictures. Glad you got it taken care of. If this happens to me now I'm out of luck as I have passed the 60k mark.

I didnt find anything on Infinitihelp.com, but theres a couple of threads on the ORG but those guys are from the Middle East or something like that
 
Well since it's something they'll fix, let's leave it that way. We can add in the repair code from your invoice after the work's done.
 
I have a 2006 with same problem but with much more bubbles.. The warranty here just includes the gear and the engine to 100Km which around 60K mile and i already passed the 60k. Even if i didnt the dealership here sucks they wont replace it for free!

Good luck with replacing yours.
 
I actually just got mine replaced a couple months ago by Frontier Infiniti, along with my window trim, headlight/tailight recall. My dash, especially around the vents and nav unit had extreme bubbling. They said they've seen this problem a lot on older Infiniti's. Thankfully they agreed to replace my whole dash under warranty.
 
Had the same problem with mine when i first got it. I had crack all over the place. Lucky forme the warrenty was still in effect and got the whole thing replaced. it's just too bad i didn't have any pics to show you guys. All I know is arter it's all said and done, it saved me about $3K in repair. I guess thats what happends when the sun beats down on that dash.

Damn Will, that sucks that your dash bubbled. Thats good that you went with Sheryl, she is very awesome. I was there on Friday after work for an oil change. She also got some of my door weather strips replaced because they had cracks.

I dropped off the car at Metro Yesterday.....Cheryl put me in a 07 G35 Sedan
Probably gonna pick it up tomorrow.
 
Got my car back this afternoon, dash is looking good now.
Huge props for Cheryl for taking care of this for me.

If any of you guys take your car to Metro make sure you have Cheryl write ya up.
