Revival of old thread....
I'm about to change my stock plugs. These have been of interest, and have seen them dyno'd on Horsepower TV. DSports magazine gave the VQDE engine +5.7 hp with a top at 11hp. That was with changing the stock plugs with new ngk plat, dynoing, replacing them with these, dynoing, and then putting the ngk's back in and redynoing again.
I remember when the Splitfire plugs first came out, I tried them and they ran way too hot causing carbon deposits....wondering if this does the same thing?
Has anyone else tried these. I mean for $150 for +5hp and 3lbs of torque is pretty darn good...besides the increase in gas mileage.
Shoot I just paid $600 for an exhaust that might have got me 2hp and made me lose gas mileage.
