2009 FX spied!!!

didnt like the front at all .. just looks like a fat big nose .. lol + the car looks smaller !!

i saw the car two days ago .. i think its the same one this pic .. i was on my way to work and saw the car with them covering the emblem and other parts were covered .. tried to follow the car and when i asked the driver to stop he smiled at me and drove fast !!! lol i think he didnt want me take the pictures ..

my friend just told me that theres a place near my office where they test new cars and stuff .. i'll try to find the place and get my spy cam and start snaping!!

I saw the new FX in person at this years Dallas Auto Show. I haven't had time to compare the specs between the 09 to the 03-08s (They had an 08 and 09 side by side) but here's my impression:

1) Rear end appears lower because of a steaper hatch angle.

2) The overall length of the car looks longer and stretched compared to the -08s

3) From the B pillar forward appears to be the most drastic in change.

4) Interior is a huge improvement in design but the material still fails in comparision with Eur cars i.e. MB ML, BMW X, and Audi Q7. You can tell by the feel and weight of the material.

5) Side vents don't look as intrusive as the intial pictures.

6) Even though the car looked sleaker and more aero dynamic, the lines do not flow as well as previous design.

7) Antenna looked out of place on the rear. Prob. because I'm use to it in the front.

Oh, there's a thread for this?! Duh...

I saw the new one in person for the first time last night in Santa Monica. Looked much better in person, imo, especially the front. But I said it before and I'll say it until the end of time, "The side vents are tacky!"

Yeah, I like it also. I don't know, maybe if they color matched the side vents to the same color of the FX it would be good. At least they are functional. Not like those stick on ones. lol I really like the tail lights. Gives it a mean look. hahahaha
 
ha, I like the new fx & I think I'll get one in like 3 years I guess, but until then no mods on the new body... once I did get one though there will be a few changes I think :smile:
