12/2/07: Toys for Tots Car Show @ Cali Speedway

regarding the concessions, we did not "buy them out" to allow us to bring in our own caterer, so the food concession has the option of opening. However, we are probably not a large enough event for them to open. This is not something they will tell us.

Sorry. I know, it's silly... we can't afford the $2k+ buy-out fee (a payment for them to do absolutely nothing other than allow someone else to serve food), yet we're too small for them to open.

In case they aren't open to sell their $8 burgers, I'd recommend bringing your own brown bag or getting a group hibachi together!

SO the powers that be have set their plans in motion...

Would be good to have all the FX show up together and park at the same place...

Dave is under the weather and he hopes to make it...

I guess strep kind of makes you edgy and a bit sensitive :tongue:, get well soon Dave :biggrin:. Hope you can make it out, but if you can't we will take pictures for you :smile:.

No need to take it every day. But at the first sign(the very 1st sign!) that you may be coming down with something(usually a cold) take it like 2-3 times a day for the nest 3-5 days and you are good as new.
 
I think I may have gotten it from all the drink sharing at the Halen concert. Who knows . . but I feel like crap right now. Taking antibiotics, so I'm not contageous any more.
 
Dam Dave that does not sound good. No wonder you have been kind of quite lately. Anyways, get well soon and hopefully you can make it out on Sunday.

BTW, I hear evreyone's gonna be in group on Sunday. How does that affect the AutoX . . Cuz that those vehicles would be in the race coral.
 
I don't know exactly how it will work, but Ted knows I will in the autoX so most likely I will near the exit somewhere close to the event.
 
That would mean the whole group needs to be near the exit?

BTW, what's the significance of 55? Are you having vinyls made?
