I believe that is the Crawford V5 plenum. APS also makes 2 different plenums, one of them being the "Tall Boy."

Kinetix makes the SSV plenum and V+

Looks great....!! Is it say the same as the MREV2 manifold....??

And will it gain extra Hp on a non turbo FX35 with a 1/2" plenum on it...?? I do not read on your aviator that you have it on....??

the after market plenums basically do the same thing as the plenum spacer. According to Motordyne, there is a decrease in performance if you have too much spacing on the plenum (for a NA engine). Basically the aftermarket plenums look nice. The MREV2 is the lower collector and not the same as what Cube described.

Oke so if you'll go for this you have to take your plenum spacer out then...?!

Any price known....?! I like the Kinetix SSV very much any pics mounted on a 35...?! Cause i can't figure out where it would sit in the engine bay.

Yes Ray. I have the crawford. It's a very nice part, & gains are likely similar to the spacer. +1, Spacer + Plenum may not be the right way to go.
The SSV, I believe was designed for F/I.

The SSV barely helps FI and offers no gains NA. Spacer + bigger plenum does not help much, but Tony from Motordyne actually wanted to make a spacer as big as he could for the FX considering we have more space under the hood. Anybody remember that project? He was running his Z with the hood off so that he could stack a bunch of spacers up and he liked the performance from having a maaaassive plenum, but our firewall got in the way I believe...

The Cosworth is a lot like the Kinetix SSV, designed more for FI with the intent of getting rid of that way upper RPM band drop off, and it succeeded in doing that to an extent. The Cosworth costs as much as the Kinetix SSV did when it first came out and was also a decent upset because it didn't live up to the hype the 350Z guys were giving it. NA guys wasted their $ and FI guys were satisfied for the most part.

MREV2 is the LOWER plenum/collector. It is what you'll see when you take the plenum off.

As for me, I don't have any of these... mine's stock:

Google is your friend, use "images"

Yes google is indead my buddy  but i kinda expected that some of you probably had pics of cars as you have.

Can anyone confirm if it 'll fit on the FX35 with a struttbrace on like stillen or the SUMMIT i have...??
I see that it fits the Z bar so what about the FX...??

Unfortunatly i'm not really formilar with all of the technical terms, but what doen FI meen. i thought NA was natural aspirated or such, but correct me if i'm wrong :err:
I think FI will have to do something with compressor or turbo's, so this will do more for that engines then.

But it can be said to produce the same as the 1/2" plenum spacer then. Allthough it is a lot of money for showuse it looks soooo damn great :top:

The Kinetix SSV will NOT produce similar results as a 1/2" plenum spacer. It is engine bling / eye candy only if you're installing on a NA VQ

The Cosworth is similar, but does have upper end gains on a NA VQ that are hardly noticeable. It starts getting more noticeable as you bump the rev limit and start pushing past 7k I believe...

Thanks Cube for the clear information. Don't understand why those companies are always claiming more Hp with these products when in reality it doesn't bring much. I think when it brought say the same as my current 1/2 plenum spacer i would go for it as i like the look of it,but am not going back in Hp. I think the reason for putting so much money in it all is to gain Hp's not to lose them

thought I might as well bump this thread because I am going to do some engine bay modifications/add-ons/paint stuff/etc. soon....

here's mine as of last week:
too bad you cant see the UR pulley or front GTSpec tie bar
