Stock exhaust Modding

I think thats what Gto-Dave and I paid too - a few months back when they had a special goin......they gave us free install also.
 
can someone please answer? i am about to buy a nismo muffler for 400+shipping, and have the rest custom made. is it easier and or cheaper for me to buy the nismo catback? how much modification will it take to fit? is the y-pipe useless on AWD?
 
will i get the same sound withoutthe rest of the system though? (y and mid pipe?) will the nismo y and mid pipe fit my awd fx? is it just a lengthening of the mid pipe and the tips and its all set to go? if the y-pipe will fit i'm gonna go with a full nismo cat back. if not, i'll buy this muffler and then pick up an AWD y-pipe or have one custom made

hey Doug..

They sell the G35 Extenstion piece that makes the exhaust fit - but you still have to take it to a muffler shop to extend the tips.

you will probably get a similar sound...most of the sound comes from the muffler, with a custom 3" midpipe shaped the same way the sound should be bang on.

the nismo midpipe fits, and you need a g35 extension piece as well. the nismo y-pipe will not fit unless you custom modify it to fit, or just get a different y-pipe
