Hey I have a question about wheel compatability. I've been shopping for wheels on ebay but they hardly ever mention the fx. What vehicles share the same bolt pattern as the FX?

Thanks for that info....

It seems like the 5/7 series BMW, Chayenne, and Range Rover (for example)share that bolt pattern, so is it fair to say those wheels would fit the FX.

Also the two bolt patterns you mentioned "5x114.3 or 5x4.5" seem like about a 3" difference. Can you explain that to me a little... I'm just trying to understand so I don't order the wrong rims...

So does anybody know what the typical offset for the FX35 is? Do you guys norrmally run the same f/r or staggered? I know for Z/Gs it's typically +22-29 for safe fitment and anthing in the teens with a drop would require fender rolling in the rears or camber adjustments.

Hmmm....not sure what is typical as it also depends on the wheel width. But I have 35mm offset with a 10in wheel width and I had to shave the rear wheel wells but I am also lowered. There are many combination that can be done. Also, the tire width will also have a contributing factor as well. The oem is 40mm offset on a 8in width.

hey guys, had a question about wheel sizing...

I'm looking at these wheels made more for 350z's and G35's, but wanted to see if they be a good sizing on the FX... They are 18x9.5 with +30 offset heres a sample of them

not sure if I can go all the way around, think they fit in the fronts? They have 18x8 at +30 if the 18x9.5 don't fit the fronts... I know they are 18's, but i'm not a big fan of 20s and 22s wheels... Plus I'm here bitching about size 16 tires when I need them for my car I can't think of size 20-22 tires to buy lol... Another thing I won't be lowering the car (maybe lol).

9.5" +30 is 29mm wider than stock, I think you're not the big sidewall bulge kind of guys so you should be able to run this on all 4 wheels. 275-285 you you should be good.

Nice choice, looks similar to what another member had (Alex)?

Yea they look similar to the volks time attack wheels.

Like rookie said the specs should be fine to fit the fx and as long as the tires aren't too wide you shouldn't have any rubbing issues.

Does FX35 and 45 and all models have the same pattern except from the rim size??

You shaved just the rear? I'm going to be doing this soon and wondering if I should shave the front as well. I'll be running 265/40/22 on 22x9 +15mm, which is +38 out (very aggressive), thanks to the advice of Rookie.

Just preparing while I wait for my wheels to come.

The sidewall bulge is the next part after offset that determines if the wheel/tire will rub. 305 on a 10" is decent sidewall bulge, your 265 on a 9" should be less sidewall bulge and less wheel/tire to get near the wheel wells. Fronts, mazzzur pushed his clips up to gain a little extra clearance.
