mannn that looks SICK. im loving the new paint job. from a distance is sort of looks more like a flat black, but i saw the upclose picture with your FX54 emblem and it just shines with a nice flake!

you brought this baby back to life, you should be really happy :laugh:

reminds me of the paint i saw on an Audi A3 or S3 a while ago...

Actually the color is from the 2007 Audi S8 Black Phantom Pearl Effect Color..
 
Congrats on your "new" ride. Nice choice of color, I can see the diff - especially around the edges - she reflects a little more golden it looks like. At the end of the day, it's just nice to have her home I'm sure.

FanatiX, I think you should consider changing your default font color as I cannot read anything you just wrote except for "new" :err:.

Sorry guys - I had no idea it would do that :confused: - I didn't change my default - I just tried to get the word new to show in black. I think I set the other letters to show in white. Surprise :eek:.
 
Wow, it came out really nice. The black seems to have a deeper black look over the stock color....love it!!!

I think it looks great. There might be a little too much color if anyhting. That black certainly does pop though. Nice choice.

It's on point thats a sick color on the A8 - and every bit as impressive (if not more so) on your FX. Ya done good!:biggrin:
 
Version 2.0

Well ... I am so exited to go through another change on my baby....

My FX is at AutoExposion and hope to get her back within 3 more weeks.

With some of the changes I am getting done to it, I wanted to get some of your opinions again on what color I should choose for my FX.

Any suggestions would be great.

I am debating on a Dark Graphite/Pearl color or just stick to the Audi S8 Phantom pearl.

BTW my FX will have a semi new look... John (Turbocad) will be proud.
