I was thinkin the same thing. First FX I have seen with a flat black paint job, looks sick.

Update

UPDATED Pictures of my CAR being Color Sanded and Polished...

THE COLOR THAT I CHOSE is from the 2007 Audi S8 (BLACK PHANTOM PEARL Effect)

This Black Color has a very rich color in the day time. Yet, when you look at the car directly in the sunlight and in the eavening time, all the lines of the car are accented with a Graphite Pearl Color.

This is the effect I was looking for.

Should be ready to pick up my BABY by tonight...

I had to drive it home for one more day since they could not finish the actual polish that same day..

Well I have the finished paint job on my FX...

To be hones I am not that happy with the end results. The effect that I was looking for is only a bit apparent. The overall look of my FX almost looks stock when I take a picture of it. The car looks much better and person.

I did want to take it back and have them repaint it again. But, I can not be without my baby for another month. I am happy but not elated with the color.

The body shop tells me that I should give it a month so I can really benefit from the true color. WTF? :err:I have to wait another month to see the true color I want? What will happen in 2 months? Will it turn Gray or Brown?

Nevertheless, I have a new paint job and it looks good and am happy that my Baby is in one piece.

No Humberto it does not look anything like stock. It looks real good IMO. I'm sure no one is ever satisfied when they go through major work on their FX like what you did. Enjoy your ride now bro! I like the new color and the exhaust is looking good too.

very nice and im sure it looks better in person. perhaps take a pic with a stock black fx for comparison. or we can just appreciate it in person during a meet or mini-meet .
