Just heard.

5 are coming in with the same finish as pictured.
15 are coming in with a better finish but not polished.

Got the ok to polish out the one we have on hand.
 
And more info on the polished part? They won't do polishing themselves, correct? I guess I could use the practice before I get back to my front timing cover :cool:

I'm sanding down the one I have now, I'm pretty sure they wanted to stay at or around the Stillen pricing to be competitive.

The components are aluminum, so anodizing or powder coating individual pieces or all should be a way to customize yours if you want. I'm just happy there's an option that will NOT hit the hood or hood liner of any FX out there. My Stillen rubbed the hood liner and now rubs my hood with no hood liner in place, Dr2ks Stillen hits his hood liner too so the Stillen is not guaranteed to clear hoods like this one.

That's the best thing to do since you are showing the engine bay so much. After looking at the pictures once again I see what you mean about the crevices. Shops tend to use machines to do the polishing so this may take out the sharp edges and make them a little more rounded. Let us know how it comes out.
