350z/G35 Differential Brace Compatibility

Hi,

Has anyone ever installed a 350z/G35 differential brace to their 1st Gen FX? Does anyone know if it is compatible? I was looking at the GKTech one and curious if these would have any benefits. Thanks all in advance.

Did you ever end up buying one? I can't seem to find any information online if any of the aftermarket diff braces fit.

I'm going to give it a shot! You confirming that their brace fits the 1st Gen FX gives me confidence that the 370/G37 brace will fit my car as the mounting point is there. If not, not a big deal as eBay is easy with returns. I will report back!
 
It does NOT FIT! The 2nd Gen's mounting hole on the subframe cross member is higher up than on the G37 or 370z. The only way to make it work would be to drill your own hole, but I believe that can only be done with the diff dropped due to space/clearance.
