Clear tail lights...here they come!

That's a Duraflex body kit. I have the rear bumper and hood.

Not sure why automakers are going back to this look.... I hardly liked it on my 05 FX35 sport that this style tail light come from the factory on... maybe I'm getting old?

I like them on 06-08 cars (really liked them on my '06 35 sport) but not sure I like them on the second gen.
Looks bad on the NYAS gray promo car but looks nice on that black one.
I'll stick to red lights on my white '15.

Meh, not a fan. I think they should have done a dark smoke color or something instead of clear.
I think the new refresh (again) means they will try to get another 2 years out of this before a major refresh...

I have to say I do like what they did with the q70, the car looks way better and not sure the treatment to the qx70 will be as transformative...

Even have the '17 in Iridium Blue like my '12 with the clear tails...

Just bought a set of these from Glendale Infiniti yesterday. Didn't want to buy from other sources since people have been receiving them broken, and Glendale Infiniti opened all of the boxes to make sure they are not broken. They are waiting for the middle hatch taillight to arrive, then shipping all to me. Super excited!

Now I just need to decide if I should have them slightly tinted or install as is.

The clears are OK, but their cost is ridiculous IMO. There's something about them that doesn't sit right with me... I think slightly smoked would be much better, but that also depends on the color of the car. Also, something about the round holes throws me of a bit on the top. I feel like rear eyelids would help them tremendously.

I do like that Limited badge. Looked on the Infiniti site... sadly not available? They list it but no price.

The cost was ridiculous, but I really dislike my red ones so I thought what the hell. I know what you are saying about the holes. I wish the insides were black instead of dark chrome. No way I am cutting them open though. When I have the lower black trim painted and the Aero kit put on, I will likely be getting the rear bumper protector as well. I like the look of it. But the color of the bumper protector seems close to that of the taillights, so i'm not sure if tinting the lights will make the bumper protector no longer match. So many decisions.

Costs about 1000 unfortunately but I feel like its worth it as I hated the red ones also, I'm still waiting on the left light due to them always coming broken. I Agree with you on the inside being a bit darker too.

thanks @zebra555 @GEE50FX and @6T9CHGR P.S. I wasn't on board with the body color vents either, but wanted something a bit different from the sports being just black. I'll show everyone soon what I've come up with.. Also a shame about the limited badge too I think it'll be available soon.

Minor problem. My 2012 taillights aren't exactly the same as the 2017 Limited taillights. See the right hole on both of the photos below (grey=new and square formation, red=old and triangle formation). I tried to tug on the wires for the whole taillight that go past the rubber gasket (flush to the car) to see if the whole thing (wires included) is plug-and-play, and it seems that the full taillight's wiring is plugged in between the exterior and interior panels of the car. Don't know how to get to it, or if the connector is the same shape on the end. Can anybody shed light on this? I could have done some cutting to make the turn signal plastic piece screw into the different shape, but I want to sell the old lights, and don't want to screw up the expensive new ones.

Lol my 2010 is the same way, I took my trunk apart to change the wiring. I too thought of cutting and splicing the cables but decided to go the OEM route. It doesn't take long but its a lot to do if you've never taken your ride apart before.

Holy crap that looks miserable lol. Can you tell me the order in which you took things apart? I have never done it before so I don't want to screw anything up. Also, the white connector on the end of the new taillights, does that plug directly into the plug without changing the actual wiring? I am hoping it plugs in easily with no issue once the car is apart.
