Yeah, I will be painting them myself with Rustoleum 500 Engine Paint and Rustoleum Engine 500 Clear Coat spray paint. It's very easy to work with a Rustoleum paints.

I think Muteki doesn't make a gun metal ones. The closest is this one(Muteki calls a titanium finish). I like them:smile (2):

Titanium looks nice, either that or black. You want the attention to be drawn to the cool parts of your ride, not your lugs.

Neo chrome and regular finish were the only ones that were not peeling(as far as I searched). How is your set holding up?

I have the muteki sr48's in black... Its not the best quality paintjob imo, the black has a texture similar to a rattle can job. Of course this is only if you are inspecting it up close, from 2 feet away you can't see it and they are quite subtle.

If i were to do it again, i'd get titanium. Not sure on how well it will hold up though.

Another thread just got me thinking about my color choice for Akebono calipers. I originally wanted to go with Daytona yellow:


but now thinking going burnt orange instead. Here is the OEM caliper I painted last summer(I got all 4 of them if anyone wants to buy them:smile (2):


What you think, will it look better with a blue body color and gunmetal wheels?
