I ended coming across a 2005 g35 sedan fully loaded, tech package, navy, heated memory seats and much more with only 56k for 15,000. I was looking at some fx35 but this was WAY WAY cheaper. note the woodgrain. it will be gone asap thats a promise. first things first, my coilovers are going on asasp with grill and chrome painted black.

Nice, excellent color choice, I used to own a 05 G35 sedan then a 07 G35 sedan. I loved both cars but I actually found the 2nd Gen sedan much nicer.

I hear you on that. You have a great looking car, I certainly enjoyed mine.
Here's a pic of my 05 G35X Sedan, I picked up some used 18" G35 sport wheels and put them on it.

Congrats on the car, looks like it's in great shape! I like the pop-up screen, I didn't know it came that way.

No hates, just a little less loving! I kids ya. Baby (did you say babies?) is so expensive! Good looking ride for sure.

May I suggest a couple inexpensive mods for your G.
A set of clear corners looks good on a white G and they are only around $40

An earlier 350Z tube is another cheap mod but it sure improves the sound of your intake. Here is one installed on the G

Here is the difference between the stock intake and the Ztube, you can see the flow is less restricted.

Ah, the clear corners would look awesome. I would change out the amber turn signal bulb to one that is silver coated amber too for cleaner looks. I think the amber in headlight housing just way too out of place to me.

True, the chrome bulb does look much better yet it lights up amber when turned on.

you should also swap that huuge bulky mid pipe for a FX mid-pipe = less weight better sound and flow

@ Wayne thats a pretty sick place to take a picture

Nooo! Wish you got the FX again. But glad you are back in an Infiniti though, that's what matters. Actually the wood doesn't look bad, except the shifter knob. If I didn't know it was a G, it has a Volvo-esque interior/dash.

Congrats man I love those cars.

One question though. I know you said you were trying to keep costs low because of the baby, but you paid $15K for that 1st gen G sedan? For that price you could of bought a used 2nd gen 2007 G35 sedan. I've seen them at all kinds of places everywhere going from $14K-$17K. Not to spoil your ride bro but just giving a suggestion :smile (2):

well just one baby, glad theres not twins that would be a bit scary the first run,lol

I did see some 2nd gen g35 but I have this thing about being ripped off in the past traveling or havng one shipped and it being a total piece of crap, lol so I try to stay local and around here they are truley proud of cars. I would have to spend close to 20k for a mid miles car :-(.

the car does come with a 350z tube and also a 350z y pipe too that was another plus to me. but ill check into the fx mid pipe that sounds like a good idea.

you guys are right the clear corners a big plus i will sure to put those on for sure.

The FX midpipe is just the coupe midpipe, tons of those being sold on the G forums. My brother has an '06 sedan, 6spd. He lowered his on Z springs and put 20" Forgeline's on it.

BTW, I think I bought the BC's from your previous FX. Thanks for the great deal.

I hate you already, you should of gotten a BLACK G35 sedan :rotfl:.... congrats and welcome back to the VQ35DE engine.
