Yoko Tires from Discount Tires

I live in the Chicago area so I would like to get all-seasons tires that are good on light snow.
I put a set of Yoko YK580 20" tires on my FX. Both the ride and handling were worse than the original Bridgestone tires.
I thought about the Yoko Parada Spec X but many reviews said they only got 20-25K miles tread life. Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Allot of member here are running the Paradas Spec X and they all say good stuff about the tires. I have been running them for almost 2 years and i have no issues what so ever. Way better then the stock goodyear crap.

My first set of replacements were Paradas Spec X, I have since moved on to Hankook Ventus ST RH06 and I like em better than the Paradas. But I live in So Cal, where it doesnt snow.

I had Parada Spec-X on my last FX and they were great. I got almost 40k out of them before I was ready for a new set. They even preformed well in light snow during a weekend trip in the mountains once.

I’ve had my 20” yoko avid envigors since 2010. No complains about them in the snow, rain, and love them in dry weather. Still plenty of tread, but recently took advantage of the tire insurance from discounttire.com and ordered 2 more for $60.00 shipped due to some punk slashing both of my back tires.

I have 38k miles on my Parada Spec X's and they have been great. Absolutely no road noise. I will probably replace them in another 5k miles.

Everything I heard and read about the YK580 turned me off from them. I decided to go with Parada Spec X and glad I did.
Read my comments on them in the Product Evauation section.
