Y pipe fitment

Ok so I've been looking around for something just to add a little more growl. It seems like all 350z/g35 y pipes all fit the rwd fx35 aftermarket exhaust. Just curious as if these would mate with the oem exhaust..

Megan's and kakumei pipes are 2.5 inlet and 3 outlet, does these fit?
How about the 350z hr pipe?

They all mate with oem exhaust. But if you replace only the y pipe there might be a little rasp because of the larger outlet merging with smaller inlet of stock exhaust.

Ah I see. I was on YouTube and I was watching this G35 with a hr y pipe only on stock exhaust and it sounded nice.

HR Y-pipe should be ok, it's the aftermarket ones that have bigger diameters. The HR Y-pipe will be a very small difference in sound though. They just removed the heat shields. Maybe look into a Nismo one, the 350Z guys sell those for nothing. They all want the exhaust, but not the Y-pipe. And I don't think the diameters are that different. If you put an aftermarket one on and there is rasp, it's an easy fix. Just have a reducer welded in. The rasp is from the exhaust gases hitting the flange on the smaller OEM exhaust. If you had a reducer, problem solved.
