meh', I don't really think there's anything wrong with that. I'm currently driving an 06' Ford Fusion here in Vancouver, and could use new tires... It has stock 17" wheels right now. To get NEW tires mounted + the whole 12% tax thing
tdown
, I'm looking at anywhere from $800 and up... However, going through the local Craig's List there are people selling their 18's w/tires with about 85-90% life left on them for less -but different brand, NOT FORD (yes, exact same lug pattern, hub centric, offset etc etc). I'm thinking of picking up a set, and then with the stock 17s I use them with winter tires (for next year). I don't care if they're stock wheels from another car maker :dontknow: As long as they still look cool and function (key word there). It'll be cheaper and while the tires aren't exactly 100% new... they'll still last me a good while. So, it'll be cheaper to buy a slightly used set of tires AND wheels than buying a new set of tires (only).
