YES! In Portland it's the Prius drivers. They're the worst! Speeding, failing to signal, running red lights, veering out of their lanes, you name it. They're almost as bad as Subaru drivers...

Funny thing is that prius likely has a similar overall carbon footprint than his diesel truck.. Mining the materials for the battery, shipping it for processing, the process itself, shipping again for assembly all have huge impacts on the environment.

Your forgetting about the environmental issue of disposing of that huge battery when it finally takes a dump. I would have tach'd up the motor to shut her down. The thing I don't get is why did the guy feel so obliged to answer her questioning. It's like he felt he had to justify himself to her. Unless she is paying for the truck and its upkeep I would have likely told her to stfu fairly quickly.
