I bought an 05 in february. A week later I found out that the two back door didn't lock with power. Now the other day I found out the fronts are done and the rear hatch will not lock at all. So I can't completely lock this POS. I only got 50,000 miles on it and this shit happens. Is there any recalls? How much are the accuators?

Ummmm... First of all I don't consider the FX a POS. Anyway, check the fuses

I dont know if its the heat. I live here in El Paso and lately its been in the 100-110 range. Never had a problem with heat and the locks. Like they said it might be a fuse issue or a power cable came loose somewhere. Every car has its issues but the FX is NOT A POS!!

Yeah its not the fuses for sure because the gas door still works and I can hear all the locks trying to move but don't. As for it being a pos, if I can't lock a high end luxury car completely it's pos. They should have at least put a key lock on the hatch. And my warranty is over so it looks like I'm in the market for acuators. Anyone know how much the hatch one is.

I've had the same problem w/ both my front door locks and the drivers side controls being able to unlock the back hatch as well. Infiniti said it was the door actuators...$500 each! I've never in all my years of owning vehicles EVER had 1 actuator go out, let alone 2. That says to be bad manufacturing!

This may be worth a shot...Have you tried to disconnect the battery to reset it? I have never done this with my FX but I have owned Hondas in the past and the same thing happened to my Honda Pilot. The manual says to disconnect the battery and then there is a sequence of pushing the window buttons till it works again. But I am not sure if your radio will need a anti theft code after the battery disconnects. So if you try this, be prepared for that.

Sounds like all the actuators went bad. I got mine from Riverside Infiniti for $170 each. I did the install myself and took approx 40 minutes for the front door and 20 minutes for the back door.

The guys here are mentioning the heat because when the actuators start going bad, it always shows up when its hot outside.

Where did you buy this car? They didn't offer you any type of warranty? Or was you bought it as is? Sorry for your bad experience so far...

Well I went back to were I bought the car and they are gonna give me dealer cost on the the actuators since they are all bad. Now I just need to save some money.

:( I've got an 04 with the driver side going out... You can see it trying to move when you click the button, but it just cant make it. Looks like I'll be replacing one as well. :(

I have a 04 that all the doors don't work. I tried the battery but had no luck. I heard that the problem to be fixed can be kind of expensive, so I just manually unlock right now until I have the money to fix. It is a pain in the ass. I was fairly shocked when it happened to because I have friends that have old beater Hondas I don't have this problem. Oh well, still love my baby

It's definitely a DIY. Save $200/door on labor. It is just a little time consumer and can be done in a couple of hours if its your first time. It would have been nice if good things lasted longer on the first time!
