wood door trim crack/peel

they replaced my wood trim, but the chrome outline trim that goes underneath the wood panel was damage from the wood pealing. Dealer did not replace it. I had to take the car back for them to look at it again. crossing my fingers & I hope they fix it.

Sounds like they have damaged it when replacing it?

it was damaged before I took it in to get the wood panel replace. I'd figure they would automatically fix it. Dont undersand how they can replace the wood trim and leave the chrome trim damaged. Seemed like the chrome trim might of been damage from the wood trim pealing from the door panel.

Ugh this has started happening to mine now. I was hoping it wouldn't but it has. 3 out of 4 doors have started peeling over the past month of sitting parked. I always thought it wouldn't happen. To the dealer she goes!

Was at the dealer the other day and got the wood trim replaced under the TSB listed in this thread. 3 of the 4 doors were peeling but they replaced all 4 doors because it comes in a kit of 4. I was kind of bummed that they replaced the real wood trim with the updated simulated wood trim as stated in the bulletin. But after seeing the trim in person it looks just like the original. I was worried the grain and staining wouldn't match the center console but it does so I'm happy. Since it was a common problem, they already had the trim in stock so I didn't need to take out a loaner. Looking at the new trim this won't ever happen again. The design is different from the old. Here is what it looks like:

Hello, this is the first time I'm posting here, but recently I've faced some problems with the wood in my 09 FX50S. The picture of the letter that you posted is not showing. Would it be possible for you to post another copy on here if you still have a picture of that letter? Thanks in advance!
