So guys, I finally bought an HID conversion kit from Ebay for the fog lights and was able to install it yesterday. I have one question on the wiring though. The kit I bought just had two little connectors that you plug into the original lamp socket. The connectors left as is would be exposed and could fall out easily [yes, its one of the cheapy kits]. So what I did was just wrap the whole socket with electrical tape. Is that Ok? My technical knowledge of electrical stuff is non-existent. Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Is the electric tape good enough though?
And the liquid electric tape.. i've never seen that before. How easy is it to remove? and would it make it a problem to go back to stock?
Of all the kits on ebay, looks like I bought the wrong cheap kit :frown: just my luck...

you can find the liquid E.T. at home depot or similar (I have the 3M one also, but like the black color one above better).
easy to "remove". it becomes like rubber after it dries.
you should of look for one that had a H8 connector... not "universal"

How you have it now is fine, Not a lot of water is gonna get in there anyway since you have the splash shield.
