So guys, I finally bought an HID conversion kit from Ebay for the fog lights and was able to install it yesterday. I have one question on the wiring though. The kit I bought just had two little connectors that you plug into the original lamp socket. The connectors left as is would be exposed and could fall out easily [yes, its one of the cheapy kits]. So what I did was just wrap the whole socket with electrical tape. Is that Ok? My technical knowledge of electrical stuff is non-existent. Any input would be greatly appreciated...

if thats is what you have to work with then I would use this then the electrical tape.

FYI: the kit I got from ebay (also cheap) came with a water tight connector that fits the stock plug.

Is the electric tape good enough though?

And the liquid electric tape.. i've never seen that before. How easy is it to remove? and would it make it a problem to go back to stock?

FYI: the kit I got from ebay (also cheap) came with a water tight connector that fits the stock plug.

Of all the kits on ebay, looks like I bought the wrong cheap kit :frown: just my luck...
