pretty straightforward question here.
i understand the front door and front dash speakers are wired in parallel. I will be replacing both by way of polk mm6501. here is where i am confused...
i see two potential options:
1) leave dash unplugged and install the tweeter in the sail panel. This would make wiring the crossover much easier, but requires drilling.
2) put the tweeter in place of the 3.5 using the existing wiring.
I would like to make use of the polk crossover, and in my mind, option #2 would eliminate that crossover....am i correct? or can i tap into the dash speaker wire at the door somewhere?....in my mind, it has to split off at the door.
