Winter wiper blade

I had some one piece wiper blades that were similar to the Bosch but a different brand. Anyway, when it started snowing it was obvious how bad they are for winter weather. I just bought some anco winter blades, that have the rubber boot around them. The passengers side one does not conform to the shape of the window when it is down at all. both sides are up and off the window. i am wondering if anyone else has this same problem. did i get bad blade, or is that just the way it is due to the contour of the window. also, what are other people running in heavy snow?

I've been using RainX for the last two winters and didn't have any issues at all.. The fact that my FX is garaged for the most part helps but I didn't have a need for a winter blade so far..

 <--- that is me being jealous of your garage.

neoform was the brand that i was using before. i had no problems with them through the summer and fall, but with the snow recently they've gone to shit. they leave streaks all over the place, and the snow sticks to them like crazy. then it leaves a ton of water when it drags the chunks of snow across the warm windshield. the winter ones i just bought aren't all that much better to be honest. i think i'm going to return them, and go back to the neoforms. at they look nice.

ege, do you have any problems with your passenger wiper leaving streaks? i use rain-x too but it has been a while since my last application.

I didn't use the RainX liquid etc, just their wipers. I also used to clean the wiper blades by hand each time I scraped the ice off the windshield and heat/soften them by hand wearing gloves.

Any winter blade with rubber covering will work good. The rubber covering will keep snow and ice from building up behind the blade. Also put your wipers up when parked in snow storm to keep them from tuning into a block of ice.

Actually i was wrong. They were Trico blades. I returned them today and ordered my Bosch Icons from Amazon for 10 bucks less that Advanced Auto Parts. $32 with free shipping.
