Winter Tires

As my previous thread stating a hit a curb due to my crappy summers i think its time for me to get a set of winters, i went to a local shop and they want to charge me $1500 for dunlop m3's? My fellow :iS: members what would you recommend as a good winter tire, i have the stock 20's and i don't want to pay so much for a winter tire considering im getting 22's in the spring, any suggestions?? And no all seasons i want strictly winters for my 20's

Those look deadly. I think I would 'steer' toward these guys, but I have not experience with them.
 
I run Bridgestone Blizzaks DM-Z3 265/50 20 and swear by them. I drove through the monster blizzard from NY to CO two years ago with no drama whatsoever. Conditions were so bad the roads were closed and we stayed over in Sharon Springs, Kansas but the FX was handling like a champ.
 
the blizzacks come in a 20? where can i get pricing on them? i tried searching some winter tires on the web for 20's and it kept leading me to the dunlop m3's
 
I just buy Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow 255/55 R18 and put them on the OEM whells

price mounted on my FX35

416,00KM x 4pcs = 1664KM

or

297USD x 4pcs = 1118USD






everything look perfect, I will go on the mountain 30.12. and try them on the snow....



ps. I see that same tires in the USA cost just 155USD or lowest,... I dont know whay same tires have 90% higher price in my country?!!
