I own a 2009 FX50. Recently and without warning the two front windows began rolling up very slowly. They do seem to roll down at the normal speed. The rears seem to operate just fine. Does anyone know what action I might take to fix this.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Does it sound like the motor is struggling? or do you hear anything else odd while rolling up (or down)? Could be the motor, or just some cleaning.

Retrain the window switch. Roll the windows all the way down holding the switch and continue holding for at least 5 secs. Roll windows up and hold switch at least 5 secs. Should work normally.

Thanks. I will give it a shot. The car is in the body shop. I will try it as soon as I get it back.

@JLROBE80 Your original post said the windows are moving "slowly".. nothing about the auto up/down function. Can you clarify what the actual problem is?

Auto up and down is working. The speed is only slow when the windows are being rolled up. There is no issue with the rear windows. The speed of raising the front windows is about half of the speed of the rear windows. Everything was working fine until I took it in for an oil change at a dealership in Houston. I didn't notice the difference in speed until a couple of day after having the vehicle serviced. I didn't feel as though I could fairly blame them for the issue. I do not hear nor see any signs of an obstruction. I live in Arizona. I wondered if the humidity was effecting the functionality. I did see some post that say lubrication may help with my issue.
I love this site and gain a lot of knowledge from its members. Any in site will be useful. Thsnks
