Window trim under warranty?

2008 FX35 AWD
I noticed the black trim around the back triangle window on the passenger side is cracked. Its along the bottom piece and comes off the window at a 90° to the edge of the trim. I also noticed a 1" section of clear that flaked off the trim around the front window. The crack sounds like it is a known issue over on another forum. Would they cover this under the factory warranty?
 
My front window trim has the clear coat peeling as well on my '08 I guess it doesnt hurt to ask the dealer if they will cover it....probably not since I bought it from them used....
 
Should it really matter? So you buy used and all of a sudden its ok for the clear to peel off? When I had my FX in at the dealer for the engine issue, the fact it was used never came up.
 
Where would I find info regarding if my 2008 FX had any recalls, if the work was done? Or any other work it should have done before the time runs out?

I guess it really shouldnt matter but you know how dealers are....well I never really dealt with a "luxury car" dealer yet. So far my dealer is treating me ok. I got them to order me the upper dash pad that was bubbling and they will install it on Saturday & I even had a loaner car reserved for me....woot!!

To find out if any recalls are outstanding call Infiniti Consumer Affairs at 1-800-662-6200 & choose option #3
 
I tried to get warrenty a few months back on the window trim issue. I was told that paint and body is 1 year. total BS, it seems every fx has this issue. BMW X5 has the same problem. i dont think the 60 mile 48 months apply, if they do any info would be great i was going to take mine to a shop to be painted

Pretty much the same FX I have, except I have different Infiniti wheels. Love the color.
