window switches question

hey guys. it's been awhile since i've had to pop out any window switches from a door panel. are there any screws holding that in place on the FX? i have the aftermarket dash kit and can't honestly remember what it looked like underneath.

the only pic i can remember seeing with one popped is from rookie's "i see blue" thread and i couldn't tell from that.

i was just gonna jam a flathead screwdriver in there and pry it up, but, i don't want to damage anything - panel, aluminum, etc.

any suggestions, help?

thanks guys!!

ron

EDIT: when i'm asking if there are any screws holding the piece in place, i meant underneath where i'd have to remove the door panels to access the switches.

your going to have to remove the door. its like the seat heater switches by the shifter, must be removed from the bottom.

sorry please disregard my ignorance.

i have the radio/heat controls completed and installed along with the heated seat switches. the blue is utterly sick in there. i have to screw around a bit with the temp up/down button(s). i actually swapped one of the reds to amber anticipating that the red may bleed into the blue (which it will do and did). also, every button is blue and i put white leds in for the radio knobs backlighting and also for the cd door and the navigation control. that looks pretty good but the blue bleeds in a little bit on those so i'm gonna figure a way to maybe isolate those a little bit better to have only white coming thru there.

i have a couple of ideas, gotta see which one works best....... for now that's it. i think i'll have time tonight to screw around with the door panels, + the temp is pretty nice today. i'll snap a pic of the completed stuff to post it up for anyone interested...

i'm gonna search for a write-up on removing the gauge cluster also, cuz those gotta get switched out too.

(since the FX is inop for a few more weeks, ECU is going in!! tadashi is out of town until the 17th or so of the month, so, when he gets back, it may be waiting for him - $550 though....... a little more than i thought it was? but it's cool).

i got these out really simply yesterday. i took some pics detailing how to remove the switch assemblies from the doors and also on how to take them apart and label them.

i can do a write-up in the DIY section if you guys think it'll come in handy.
