Will M45 air intake fit FX45?

This may be a dumb question, but since the M45 and FX45 both share the VK45DE engine, will a cold air intake made for the M45 (like the ones made by Injen and Weapon-R, for example) fit my FX45? I'm having a really hard time finding any cold air (or short ram for that matter!) intakes for my FX45!!
It's one thing to buy a JWT pop charger, but I'm not sure if the Stillen z-tube meant for a FX35/G35/350Z will fit the VK45DE configuration, as the intake tube connects to a different location of the engine in the engine bay. Has anyone done this mod? Does it fit using various couplers? Do you have to cut the z-tube?

Maybe I should have clarified. I want to lose the complete OEM intake, meaning both the air box and intake tube, and opt for a less restrictive, higher flow setup. Ideally I would like to run a JWT pop charger with a Stillen z-tube, just not sure if the z-tube will fit on the FX45...

Same engine, different intake configuration.

I would just get the JWT pop charger and be done with it.

My 2006 45 with the JWT. What else do you want to do with a longer/different tube?
 
Lance, if you want a louder intake, you can cap off that dead air box deadener. Remove that box and just seal it somehow.

Lance weather = 50F and raining. Mine is more like below freezing.

That's a long answer for no =)

I even hesitate to refill my washer fluid my hands get so dang cold.
 
It doesn't apply to the OP but FYI: The layout for the VK changed for 06-08. The discontinued LMS tube for the 03-05 doesn't properly fit the new engine. You end up having to bend the oil dipstick out of the way and possibly snapping it off.
