So im off today and the muffler is on the UPS truck out for delivery. I just hope it gets here early enough for me to take it to the shop.

RIPnFX, if you come thru this posting, can you post a pic of your tips where it was extended?

I don't have a pic since I took the muffler off and got the ARK, the tips are extended from the end of the tip. It's fairly simple and any muffler shop will know what to do.

the shop I will be going to wants the muffler put on before i come in so he can measure and extend the tips. my question is, i wont be seeing him til tuesday, will the bumper melt from the tips being tucked in for a few days? it is around 35-40 degrees the next few days.

alright, well i just put the muffler on. big difference in tone. after about 15 mins of driving around, my bumper cut outs felt warm.

G35 exhaust will fit with very slight modification to mid pipe, and tip extension. I had a modified first gen fx exhaust on my 2011 fx35. It's posted in classified section if interested
