Will an 05 tonneau cover fit an 08?

I found a tonneau cover but it's out of an 05, he says it will fit my 08. Will it work and will I need any special brackets for it to work? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

FYI: first gen tonneau covers are 2003-2004 and 2005-2008.
