Will a regular sized oven fit in the back with the hatch closed

Not even close. The interior height it no where near enough. Take onthemove's advice and rent a truck; or have it delivered.

Not taking advice? Why ask then?
Renting a truck is great advice because there's much less of a chance of beating the shit out of the appliance and/or the FX. Don't know about you but my appliances weren't cheap and they're all stainless, so I'd go ahead and flip the bill for delivery or at least rent a truck but whatevers. Glad it fit.

I wasn't asking for advice. If I was, I would have titled it "Should I transport an oven or not". I asked if it would fit. You were the first to chime in. But only with your judgement to say rent a truck. That wasn't an answer about what I asked. Just someone seeking attention.

At least the second poster, answered the question. Unfortunately, they were mistaken. Which also proves that you can't always assume a reply is correct.

Btw, for the benefit of the non-attention seekers, the oven is stainless steel, and putting it in was super easy. And seems to me any damage possibilities were even less than a truck. As it was very stable and surrounding surfaces were soft. Just put two layers of plastic so it slides in and out.

One of the advantages of owning an SUV is to occasionally do things like this.

Now I'm seeking attention am I? No, I was actually poking fun at your handle "Problemsolver" yet apparently you cannot even operate a tape measure.
And yes, you were seeking advice unless you were just conducting a pole as to whether or not anyone ever put a stove in their FX, as if all stoves are created equal, and now here we are, full circle, right back to you not knowing how to operate a tape measure and deciding to then instead ask this dumbass question.

Get some therapy. Anyone who starts name calling to try to win an argument should. And learn to use your dictionary on how to spell poll.

There's no argument to win, except for the one in your head. Not a single name was called by me. Perhaps you should focus on reading whats written and stuffing stoves in cars as these things are clearly your weaknesses   ...
and yeah, asking dumbass ?'s. That too.

I have never such a heated discussion about an oven and a truck! LOL this is just too entertaining

It is fun. I'm on the computer pretty much all day working on stock chart analysis, so I can fire off a rocket whenevers.
