Widebody Stealth FX v3.0

LOL.. I didn't take it the wrong way at all brotha..

The M is another story.. LOL. Yet I did want the M and the FX to have some sort of similarities..

Ray I hear you.. This is why I have a spare front end so If I do have a mishap I will be covered.

I did shortened and angled the lip so I would have clearance... I'm crossing my fingers.

As for the LED's.. I used the same as my New M45... MBZ C class AMG63 LED's.... ( Got a discount for buying 2 sets ($485.00 USD a pair))

Here is the link to the M45 http://www. /forum/threads/255-Modded-2006-M45

Haha 2....?? You are crazy man....!! Or you just have some good connections with these body guys  but these DTRL's look really clean and fit the total look of the bumper perfectly. Thnk you bert....thank you....showing me all these posibilities just before i start repainting my car......all these ideas in my head now, but realy have to behave myself now....no time.....no money

WTF, 2 front ends?:eek.:

$485 is a deal and a half.

You're going to kill me for showing these to you Humberto...
http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_hls.php

KW HLS (Hydraulic Lift System). There is a "KW HLS Individual - For all lowered vehicles" you should be able to use on the Megan's.

This will not only give you a cool factor, but also functional... Actually Raymond pointed this out a long time ago.

Jup i sell KW and have contact with the importer and manufacturer several times trying to get a good deal on it......but jeeezzz this shizzle is expensive....that is for me right now  you can buy this per axle....so only front or both front/rear.
In the beginning they only had this systemfor Mc Pherson suspension but now they also have if for our rear ridget suspension.
And then you can also choose for the normal HLS kit.......wich is used to temperarly higher the car for speed bumps and it loweres again when hitting around 55 miles OR
get the new DROP kit wich allowes you to run the ydrolics always at their high point and gives you the air ride effect and drops just that bit at stand still.

1 axle system costs around 2.5K Euro's......2 axles.....3K Euro's. It is not that it is too much comparred to a good airride suspension. But for meit is ++++++ each time i come up with another cool thing :tonguey:

Do I dare ask how much for KW coil overs + HLS kit front and rear?

Can you get a real quote in USD, shipped? I like KW because they are stainless steel vs the megan's, bc racings.

Maybe a quote for 2 and thanks for the props Ray.

Sorry Guys KW does not make a coilover system yet for both generations of the FX.
I tried pushing it and got to the point they could make me a custom kit. Would have cost me 2K euro's excl our 19% vat.
But they needed my car for a couple of weeks also......as as you might know i did not have any good experiance in the past with bringing my car away for a "couple of weeks" :err:
Also i wanted to add the HLS right away as well so would have been almost 5K euro's at that time.
I spoke with them and asked for a group buy.....they were interested and i even poted a tread to get a feel if there was any interest....but no replies unfortunatly.
So went for the BC in the end as well.

I did hear the owner of KW had an 2'nd GEN infiniti himself so maybe that kit will ever come.
Concerning a quote on the HLS.....i think best way is to contact KW USA trough someone you know in the auto industry and lett them contact KW and ask for a good pricing.
Honestly not a problem for me to ask here.....but shipping will kill you in the end.
Lett me know if you want me too.......

Humberto runs Megan Coilovers.

I will probably buy BC Coilovers, since KW are probably EUR 1,000,000,000 + 125% VAT.

Haha too late to ask for a GB now, most already have the BC kit now......
And yes then it would be quit expensive.

What would interest you both......Only Front kit or Both Front and Rear....??

Front and rear.

In the winter I would ride with it both front and rear fully extended all the time. 45mm or about 2 inches is nice.

Ed the, lift kit is made to temperarly higher the car. But the drop kit works the otherway around. Things is i do not know if both kits can run both heights for a longer period of time.....do you know what i meam??

Oh, cross me out then...

that probably makes sense, it would most likely strain the system if left on continuously...

Maybe airbags might be better for me.

For what you are looking for Ed, I think that would be best option or just pack-up the family, sell the new house and move out to Cali! haha.

My recent trip to Chicago and the unveiling of my new 3rd version of my beloved FX..

Just an idea of how bright the new LED's from MBZ look on the FX..

Better Quality pics of the new interior of my FX coming.. This is a shot I took while installing a new Momo Shift knob. The center console has been color matched to the new exterior color.

Guys i Triple checked it with the manufacture and it seems that you cannot drive Both the Drop or Lift kit i both heights continously.
I don't understand though cause one set is continously empty and the other one continously full.
At a certain point i talked to a tech guy in germany and said it could but eventually talking trough the importer here who spoke with the boss it couldn't.
Pitty though.......

The is another system called Roberuta from Japan who does the same.....but it think with air.....but no Bag more like a sleeved metal piston on air.
Thing with air is IMO you just do not have that side way stability what a spring gives you. Think of skippy ball and you sitting on it........if you driven both like i did you know what i mean..........

Bert little question.......are your front wheel wells out on these pics......

When you say out.. Do you mean if my wheel wells are flared out? Then yes.

I flared out the front and the rears.
