In the past week I've seen two cars with Berto's LED configuration. I mean exactly the same as far as I could tell. The first was a new-ish black Lexus SUV (The Land Cruiser equivalent) and the second was a red late model 911. I still think they look the best on the FX...

They've had it for at least a year on some. I know the Cayenne GTS has similar ones, and some 911's.

now porshe, mercedes, lexus & several other manufacturers have adapted the led trend & there will be others too, even though it started as an audi thing it is no longer just an audi thing, it's just a new trend that many are eager to adapt...

Exactly, besides the fact that everybody loves them, they are nice to have as DTRLs.

The two I saw weren't like the Audi LEDs. They were straight horizontal strips, about 18" or so long, in the bumper under the headlights.
I couldn't find a Lexus pic but this is what the 911 I saw looked like:

Everytime I see this FX I always say.. Why didn't Infiniti go that route for the 09+ FX models! They would had sell soooo many new FXes lol.

I don't know how the rules about these are in the US, but up from a certain buildyear ( don't know exactly wich one, but maybe 2011 or 2012 ) every car in europe has to have these DTRL LED's. So that is why all european cars start having them already.
So not only a trend but in our case also a....hang on here it comes bad englsih......neccesarry :eek.:
