why the Maxima HID is bluer??

Hi, I saw some 2009 Maxima on the road,, the HID on the Maxima looks bluer than my FX..

do they have same 4300k as well? is 4300k the only color legal on the road?
should I change to 8000k to light them up

maybe the owner changed the bulbs? or nissan is using different lenses on current models.

I saw lots new Maxima on the road with that look alreay,, just like the Audi HID..

They are 4300k. It has everything to do with the projector and the cutoff shields and how it uses the light. From far away they look very blue/purple, but you'll notice as they come closer they are white. I've noticed the new RX350's have that sweet blue cutoff too.

You can get somewhat of the same look if you put spacers/washers and get new clear lenses for the FX's projector.
