the guy was talking about a g35 vs. fx45, not +09 fx35 vs. fx45. FX45's are faster than 06 G35s and +09 fx35s. Live with it

You're making an extra 70bhp in your 07? Thats the equivalent power to weight ratio differential of an 07 35X to a FX35. That would require forced induction

Intake, exhaust (APS --> MD), ART pizipes, tune, wheels and tires, and coilovers. Basically everything aside from the MD spacer.
Everything is finally completed now, except for the exhaust getting fitted better (hopefully) and re-welded. No codes for a couple months now. :smile (2):

What? Why are you not complaining to the guy who mentioned that the +09 FX35 is faster? Who else did I bash? Read the quotes before it. I know the FX45 can not beat every car on the road, but yes it can beat the car I mentioned. Did I argue with the guy with the blue cobra who states his car is faster, no because it is true. So, before you jump on one poster, look at what all the posters have posted.

FX45's are faster than 06 G35s and +09 fx35s. Live with it
I live in a world where 96mph is faster than 95mph, almost an entire mile per hour! And 5.9s goes by wayyy faster than 6.3s, not to mention 15.7vs 16.5 . So technically a 35 is slightly FASTER and *much* QUICKER to 60mph and 100mph, but a 45 is slightly QUICKER in a quarter mile. A 0.1s or a 1mph trap difference all comes down to driver performance, not machine. Its a fluke that the 45 just happens to be 0.1s quicker in elapsed time at the beam - in the real world the 35 is faster and the 0-100 is night and day difference.
The difference in the motors is AUC, refer back to my first post if that doesn't make sense.
But who am I to judge, come out to the track and place a wager if you really think its 'faster'. I hate taking sucker bets tho, somebody who interchanges "faster and quicker" and doesn't look up the specs isn't one who has spent a lot of time on a pro tree

You're the only one who seems to consistently post about it, and I've noticed it multiple times already, so yes I did read it. I've been wanting to say this for a few posts already. I'm not sure why you care so much about it.
BTW, Motor Trend calculated the 2009 FX35 at a 6.1 0-60, versus 6.3 for the 2004 FX45.

You and me both. I originally looked at 45s. But I loved the interior of the 09+. The deal sealer is its slightly faster and the mpg is better. Hard to justify a 45 unless you're going for the rarity aspect - but in that case I just am modding the piss out of my 35 lol.

Yes, its amazing what you can buy these days. 12 second cars and the price of admission is nearly entry level. Technology is awesome!
