Whistling sound after installing plenum spacer

Just had the 5/16" motordyne plenum spacer installed, got this whistling sound in between 2500~3000 rpm, is it normal? I noticed a bit once in a while after having my JWT popcharger installed. Now it's more consistent. Idle is fine. I also have z tube installed.
 
It may not be enough of a leak to have an effect on the idle. But once you increase RPM's and the air flow increases, you hear it. Not a huge deal, but get it fixed. It's easy enough to check for leaks as others have mentioned.
 
might be ur filter, or even the sound of the pop charger. My fujita makes a whistling sound too, turbo imitation
 
I had the same issue when I installed mine about a year ago. I removed the hoses again and did a more thorough and careful reconection of the hoses. Whisling sound went away. Just curious, did you show a check engine light on? I had a check engine light on at that time.

After I reconnected everything back on, I detached the battery terminal for about an hour and after I replaced back the battery terminal, check engine light was gone. The advice to disconnect the battery terminal was from pman :good:

No, I don't see the check engine light. I disconnected the battery terminal for 24h+ to reset to ECU.

It bothers me even to think about reconnecting those hoses... Those ones behind the engine, you know, errrr....

Yea, it might be the pop charger. I'll reinstall the stock filter to compare.
