which one is better? fx35 or fx45?

interrested in buying a fx, what engine would u guys choose? i know there are alot of aftermarket parts for the fx35 ,but i dont intend on touching the engine, so which would u choose fx35 or the fx45 for stock engine performance??
 
If your looking for more power than go for the 45. If your looking to save on gas, then get the 35
 
I believe there is more aftermarket support for the 35 since it shares the same engine with g35 and 350z... that's if you are planning to modify
 
From your listed criteria it sounds like the 45 would be the choice for you.
 
After owning both I can honestly say that I cannot easily choose one over the other. I am thankful and giddy for the extra power in my 45 but it just isn't as much fun as my old 35. I'm never able to push the 45 to it's potential and "fun zone" before I have to back off of the throttle. With the 35 you are always using the VQ at it's best.

I am glad I have a 45 but miss many aspects of the 35. It would not be an easy decision if I had to make it again knowing what I know. Although I would probably end up getting the 45 just because.
 
Stock engine performance- you have to go with the 45. If you want to have a fast car, the 35 even with a lot of mods, has a hard time getting to the level of a stock 45. But... you can turbo the 35....but this sounds like this is not an option.

But then if you want managable gas mileage and just a fun car, get the 35.

I had a 35 before my 45 They feel aboiut the same power wise, Maybe 45 is a little faster. But my 35 felt little more nimble. If you are going to mod the FX there are more parts for the FX35 readily available.
