Which Gt Spec Bracing helps allot?

I don't have the mid chassis brace but the other two (lower lateral and rear tie) as well as the front strut bar require no instructions. None of them take longer than 10min to install and the FX (on H&R springs) provides plenty of room to reach them without lifting it at all. I even used a crawler and still reached everything just fine.

This post inspired me to go out and try to put on my lateral brace. Unfortunately about 6 minutes into the job, my ratchet stripped out (that's what I get for buying a car from NY, a bunch of the nuts are seized.) So off to go get some PB blaster for try #2. You are right though, even on a lowered FX, you can reach the bolts very easily.

yup did mine with an impact wrench, came right out.. I didnt feel mich of difference, after the install, maybe the uppet tie will tighten it down..

I tested the rear lateral on stock springs, with front strut bar, stock wheels/tires.. Yesterday i installed h&r springs with new kybs will try to see the difference with the new setup. It felt the same when i cornered aggressively, understeer (stock spring/kyb setup).

Hey guys its been a week with the new h&r/shocks combo. Ive been driving pretty hard, i dont know why when driving on curvy roads at high speeds, the rear end kind of rolls, feels like if i dont brake im gna loose control.. I havent had an alignment done yet. Maybe its my alignment? or i need the rear tie/ rear sway bar to make it complete (i.e without rear roll)

Out of alignment is mostly like the suspect if you don't have that same feel before the H&R/shocks change. Most likely the front is out of alignment which give you the feeling the rear roll and out of control. You shouldn't have to touch the camber bolt to replacing the rear springs and shocks. If you did, mostly the rear also out of alignment. Anyhow, an alignment is recommended when any suspension work has been done.

You should probably get an alignment like Andrew said. As far as the rear tie, I don't think that should make a difference. I don't have it. I'm surprised you don't notice everything working in conjunction by now. Although I'm on coilovers, I drive it very aggressively on some curves and exit ramps, tires screeching and all and I feel very planted and confident. All I have are the strut bar and rear lateral only. But I'm pretty slammed, so that could make a difference too, compared to H&Rs. Plus your springs could take a few more weeks to settle in too. Are you running stock 20"s setup? With or without spacers?

Thanks again guys, ya i did touch the upper spring bucket bolt, i think camber. Im running stock 20's on 265/50..

should i get alignment now or wait a week more?

I would wait a little longer on the alignment for the springs to settle, if they were new. Are you running spacers too? Last summer, I had H&Rs and 25mm spacers installed at the same time. I only had the STB at the time and wow the handling was like night and day compared to stock setup.

oh ok, no spacers yet, can i just get spacers for the rear, so it makes a diff? i miss my 10.5 aftermarket wheels, cornering was planted..
